Bhavnagar & Bhilwara – Strategic Training Locations
Bhavnagar Airport, operated by the Airports Authority of India (AAI), functions within controlled airspace and offers a long runway, modern ATC, and relatively lower traffic density—providing excellent availability for structured flight training. With VOR and precision approach procedures such as ILS and RNP, it is well suited for advanced instrument flying and professional radio communication training.
Bhilwara Airstrip operates in an uncontrolled airspace environment, ideal for foundational flight training. This setting allows cadets to develop strong visual flying skills, independent decision-making, and situational awareness.
