Requirements for Private Pilot License Course

Eligibility

Applicants must be at least 16 years old at the time of joining. This is the minimum age required to begin Private Pilot License (PPL) training.

Medical Fitness

A valid Class II Medical Certificate issued by a DGCA-approved doctor is mandatory. This ensures you are medically fit to undergo pilot training.

Education Level

Completion of 10th grade or equivalent from a recognized board and proficiency in English as per ICAO standards.

Pathway to Earning Your Private Pilot License (PPL):

1. Medical Class II Examination: Ascertain your fitness for flying.
2. Application for Computer Number: A prerequisite for DGCA examinations.
3. Creation of eGCA Login Credentials: Initiate your journey with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
4. Ground Classes: Immerse yourself in aviation theory and regulations.
5. DGCA Examinations: Prove your knowledge in mandatory subjects.
6. Flying Training: Accumulate 50 hours of hands-on flying experience.
7. Duration: Approximately 2 months.
